Hello! Welcome to my website!
|
My passion for researching heritage tourism began when I was a summer tour guide at the Witch House, Salem's only remaining building with direct ties to the Salem witchcraft trials. After four summers, I was promoted to site manager, and in addition to recruiting and training tour guides, I worked on the museum's marketing strategies, supervised preservation efforts, and developed educational programs. I loved every minute of it! |
My doctoral studies brought me to Georgia, which has become my permanent home. Currently, I am a docent at Roswell's amazing gem, Bulloch Hall, a historic house museum. I also serve as chairperson on the board of Friends of Mimosa Hall & Gardens, a nonprofit organization formed to support the restoration of beautiful Mimosa Hall. Most recently, I've joined the Fulton County Remembrance Coalition to help create a marker memorializing the 1906 Atlanta Massacre. Please check out my CV for more details about my professional history! |
My personal interests include dog-sitting, sunning on the beach, reading mystery novels (I've read every novel by Agatha Christie), and visiting historic towns.
